Dr. LeBlanc graduated from Thibodaux High and Nicholls State College where playing golf and football gave him an appreciation for health and fitness through a consistent and structured goal-oriented mode that would eventually affect him for an entire lifetime. Summer jobs out on the hot steel at McDermott Shipyard not only provided needed income, but served to build character and self-discipline necessary in the demanding years to follow at L.S.U. School of Dentistry. After graduating in 1975, Dr. LeBlanc served as a naval dental officer in the Mojave Desert at 29 Palms Marine Corps Base where technical and judgmental skills could be refined.
Over the past 38 years, Dr. LeBlanc has been a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, Bayou District Dental Society, Louisiana Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of General Dentistry and the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.
Dr. LeBlanc’s continuing education effort is relentless and is reflected in the courses (100 hrs. plus per year) he has participated in such as the L.S.U. Esthetics Curriculum Series, the Schuster Center for Professional Development, L.D. Pankey Institute, Orobioesthetics International, The Peter Dawson Series, as well as a variety of courses annually pertaining to adhesive and cosmetic dentistry, nutrition, occlusion, periodontics, endodontics and restorative dentistry.
